Today, the department trains specialists in two specializations: “Informational Law” and “Intellectual Property Rights”, which correspond to the research theme of the department “Theoretical and applied problems of legal regulation of safety and protection of intellectual property rights, regime of innovations in terms of information relations with cyber-civilization”, which is approved by UkrINTEI. The state registration number 0115U002872 of 05/06/2015. The purpose of the research, is integrating research on the organization and conduct of the educational process in the specialty “Jurisprudence” first (bachelor) and second level (master’s) level, including courses:
- Course of professional and practical training (theory of law, constitutional law, criminal law, legal ethics, philosophy of law, etc.).
- Selective Courses (legal ethics, criminology, forensics, industrial property rights, regulation of copyright and related rights of others.
which is done by:
- Development of theoretical and legal basis, proposals and recommendations on the principles of conceptual, methodological guidelines and legal foundations of improvement of legislation on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, regime of innovations in terms of informational relations cyber-civilization.
- Development of relevant scientific textbooks, courses of individual subjects and educational recommendations.
Implementation Science and Research Work are designed for 4 years and consist of 4 stages. Currently, the Center together with the department is working on the second stage: “Studying problems of legal regulation and protection of intellectual property rights, regime of innovations in modern informational relations.”
